Achensee – TCI Parcours (Tunnel Nord)
Below the B181 tunnel between Maurach and Achenkirch, the 1. Tiroler Tauchsport-Club Innsbruck has built an underwater trail on the Achensee's east shore. Lines lead from about 3 m to a platform at around 12 m with an upturned boat, and on to objects that include a cable-car gondola, a telephone box, a postbox and a treasure chest; most objects lie between about 12 and 30 m. Steep walls drop away beside the course. It is the most popular site on the lake and suits beginners in the shallower part.
