Heiterwanger See
The Heiterwanger See is the Plansee's quieter twin, joined to it by a 300 m channel and also used as a reservoir. It is up to 61 m deep, with a gravelly, rocky bottom and some of the clearest water among Tyrol's bathing lakes. Swimmers use the lake freely, but divers need a day ticket.
