Ray of Hope Wreck
A 60 m German-built freighter sunk upright on 7 July 2003 on sand directly behind the Bahama Mama, at the edge of the Tongue of the Ocean wall. The stern is at about 18 m and the bow at about 12 m; sharks and pelagic fish are drawn by the nearby wall. It is the newest of the Nassau wrecks within recreational depth, close to shore and sheltered in bad weather.
