Cueva del Palmar (Palm-Mar morays cave)
Boat dive reached in about 15 minutes. You moor on a rock platform at 17 m and descend the wall to 28 m, where white sand holds garden eels. A statue of the Virgin stands at 31 m in a gorge between boulders, and at 36 m on a mushroom-shaped rock is a statue in memory of Jacques-Yves Cousteau. Under the platform at 28 m the cave entrance is marked by a stone cross in memory of divers who died inside: on sand the silt-out is easy, visibility drops and the exit is hard to find.
