MV Captain Keith Tibbetts
A 100–110 m Soviet-built Koni-class frigate built in 1984 for the Cuban Navy, bought by the Cayman government and sunk in September 1996 off Cayman Brac's north-west end as an artificial reef, about 200 m offshore. She originally sat upright with her deck at ~18 m and keel at ~27 m; storms (winter 1998–99, Hurricane Ivan 2004 and 2017) broke her up, leaving a bow section with guns and a red star and a debris field aft, with openings into passageways. Multi-level, usually without current; barracuda and goliath grouper live in the hull.
