MUSAN – Underwater Sculpture Museum
The Museum of Underwater Sculpture Ayia Napa (MUSAN) opened in 2021 about 200 m off the coast of Pernera, Ayia Napa. More than 90 artworks by Jason deCaires Taylor, made of pH-neutral inert materials, stand on a sandy seabed at 8-10 m and act as an artificial reef. It lies in a marine protected area and is open to divers and snorkellers.
