Costandis Wreck
The Costandis is a 23 m former bottom trawler built in the Soviet Union in 1989 as the Zolotets, registered in Cyprus in 1997 and sunk on 22 February 2014 in the Dasoudi marine protected area, together with the Lady Thetis. She lies on silt at about 23 m. The open engine room is easy to penetrate and the trawling gear is still in place. A large grouper nicknamed George accompanies divers, with amberjack shoals, moray eels, turtles and growing numbers of lionfish. Two permanent buoys mark her port side and bow.
