Three Stars Wreck (Akrotiri)
The Three Stars is a vessel that caught fire and ran aground at Akrotiri in 1972 and now rests partly submerged at about 7 m in clear water in Episkopi Bay. Limassol Tourism describes it as a popular, accessible wreck with good visibility, a safe entry route and marine growth on parts of the structure, suitable for divers of all levels with an Open Water qualification. Other local guides date the sinking to the 1980s and use other names for the ship, so the history is not settled. Akrotiri belongs to the British Sovereign Base Area.
