Lipno – Frymburk (flooded cemetery)
Shore dive in the largest Czech reservoir (48.7 km2, built 1952-1959), where parts of the town of Frymburk were flooded. Divers can find the remains of about ten houses and a flooded cemetery roughly 10 m down near the ferry crossing. Peat tannins make the water dark below about 5 m and visibility is typically only 1-2 m, so this is an atmospheric rather than a scenic site. Diving is free and always open, but there is no air fill on site.
