Lom Bořená Hora
Flooded quarry south of Štětkovice between Benešov and Sedlčany, run as a full-service dive base by the POTYA water-sports centre. The star attraction is a Mi-8 military helicopter, the same type that made a hard landing in 2001 with astronaut Eugene Cernan and cosmonaut Vladimír Remek aboard, which was later sunk here. A passenger car, a lorry and several training platforms lie at shallow depths, so the site suits courses and relaxed fun dives. Listed maximum depth is 23 m with visibility of roughly 2-8 m.
