Slapská přehrada – hráz (přístaviště)
Deep reservoir dive on the Vltava just upstream of the Slapy dam, popular with technical divers for its cold, dark water. From the stairs by the paddle-steamer pier you reach an underwater wall at about 43 m with a sunken pontoon, and a large workboat wreck lies at about 25 m some 15-20 minutes' swim upstream. Visibility averages about 3 m and the water is only 3-12 °C, so a drysuit and deep-diving experience are advisable. Further Slapy entries (e.g. Zátoka Babor with ropes from 5 to 45 m via the ALEA Divers jetty) exist but are not detailed here.
