Blue Hole
A roughly 150–200 m wide submarine sinkhole north of Dahab that drops far beyond recreational depth, entered from shore. Most recreational dives start at The Bells and finish by crossing the lip ('saddle') into the hole along a coral wall with plate corals, anemones and passing barracuda. The famous arch lies at about 55 m and is strictly technical-diver territory; the site has a long record of fatalities.
