Giannis D
Japanese-built general cargo ship (1969, about 100 m) that ran onto the north-west corner of Abu Nuhas on 19 April 1983 carrying timber. The hull broke in the middle; bow and stern lie apart, while the well-preserved stern superstructure sits between about 7 and 27 m. The tilted bridge and roomy engine room are the highlights, with soft corals, glassfish and batfish around the wreck.
