Gordon Reef
The southernmost and widest Tiran reef, recognisable by the stranded remains of the Panamanian cargo ship Loullia (grounded 1981). A plateau at 10–25 m leads to the 'Shark Pool' amphitheatre where sharks, barracuda, tuna and jacks are often sighted; old barrels hide octopus and morays and a sandy patch has garden eels.
