Battleship France
The French Courbet-class battleship France struck an uncharted rock in the Teignouse passage while entering Quiberon Bay on 26 August 1922 and capsized; all but three of the crew were rescued. The wreck was partly broken up in 1935, 1952 and 1958 and now lies at about 17–25 m.
