Ewer von Wismar wreck (off Rerik)
The 'Ewer von Wismar', also called the brick ewer, is a historic cargo sailer about 21 m long that sits upright on sand at about 21–22 m, roughly 30 minutes by boat off Rerik. Divers describe it as very well preserved and largely covered in colourful plumose anemones, with comb jellies drifting around it. The descent and ascent are on a buoy line; dim light, a little current and bottom temperatures of only 3–4 °C make it a demanding dive. Other wrecks in the same area include a 28 m tjalk at 24 m and a two-masted cargo sailer at 25 m.
