Docktor wreck (Fehmarn)
The 'Docktor' off Katharinenhof is a dock gate about 100 m long and 12 m high that was being towed from Sweden across the Baltic; on New Year's Eve 2006 it sprang a leak and was set down on the bottom close to Fehmarn's coast. It lies in 4 to 15 m on bright sand, so in good visibility it can be seen from the boat. Mussels, plumose anemones and countless starfish have colonised it, and depending on training it can be dived outside and inside.
