Riff Rosenort (artificial reef)
The smaller Rosenort reef lies about 2 km off the coast between Markgrafenheide and Graal-Müritz, at only about 6 m. It consists of 30 reef cones, 50 two-tonne and 6 six-tonne tetrapods and about 180 t of natural stone, laid on geotextile to stop them sinking, with a fixed measuring and observation mast just to the north. Its shallow depth makes it a relaxed boat dive for beginners.
