Felsendome Rabenstein
A historic limestone and marble mine in Chemnitz-Rabenstein, first mentioned in 1365 and worked until 1906, and a show mine since 1936. After mining ended, groundwater flooded the two lower levels, which divers enter from the underground lake in the 'Grüne Grotte'. Tunnels run up to about 130 m and reach about 17 m, so the system is small and shallow compared with Nuttlar or Miltitz. The clay floor silts easily.
