Mühlbachquellhöhle (LEZÁRVA / closed)
The cave is closed; there is no public diving. The Mühlbachquellhöhle near Dietfurt in the Altmühl valley was opened by the Karstgruppe Mühlbach in 2001 after years of digging and is now one of Germany's longest caves. Its steel entrance door is locked and the cave is open only for research. In February 2021 an experienced cave diver died here on the way back from a research trip after the short, silty 'Maulwurfsiphon'.
