Kalkbruchsee Hunsfels (Stromberg)
Hunsfels is a flooded limestone quarry on the edge of Stromberg in the Hunsrück, opened to divers in 2021. It reaches about 54 m, with steep walls, rock formations and plant growth in the shallows, and the operator reports visibility mostly above 10 m. The base fills air, rents equipment and runs courses. Daily slots are limited, so it stays quieter than the big lakes.
