Möhnesee – Steinbruch Delecke
On the south shore of the Möhne reservoir, west of the Delecke bridge, a buoyed dive area covers a former quarry. A small bay with large boulders and a short steep wall lies at 8–15 m; beyond it a nearly vertical quarry face drops to about 28 m, with a large tree at about 15 m. Eels, common bream, zander and pike are common, and crayfish turn up with luck. Visibility is usually 3–6 m in spring and autumn and up to 5–8 m in good conditions, so a torch is recommended.
