Prellesee (Steina)
The Prellesee, 'die Prelle', is a second former granite quarry near Steina, a deep bowl of about 1.8 ha reaching 46.5 m. Its terraces let divers circle the lake at different depths, and mining relics lie at every level. A partly decayed motor launch lies to the left of the 'cart wheel' landmark, and further down the same line advanced divers can sign the 'Grundbuch' logbook at about 40 m. It is popular with technical divers.
