Ludwigshafen – Lädine
At Ludwigshafen, at the western tip of the Überlinger See, the 'underwater museum' dive leads along the slope at 19–20 m to the wreck of a historic cargo sailing barge (a Lädine or Segner) that carried clay. The wreck is about 10 m long and 2 m wide, and various artefacts lie in the mud along the way. Two smaller rowing boats lie further south below 30 m. The wreck is of historical and archaeological value, so perfect buoyancy is essential.
