Walchensee – Pioniertafel
About 1.2 km east of Urfeld along the closed shore road, a clearing with a memorial plaque marks the Pioniertafel entry. A steep wall drops to about 20 m; from its foot, rock formations lead down to an old VW Beetle just beyond 40 m, and an old ammunition field runs back up – look, but never touch. Char, pike, burbot and perch are reported. Between the Pioniertafel and the Galerie a wall crosses the lake in a depth range of roughly 10 to 140 m, so this is a site for experienced divers.
