Walchensee – Steinbruch
On the toll road along the south shore towards Niedernach, about 1 km past the hamlet of Altlach, stairs opposite a large car park lead into the water at the old quarry. Slightly left at about 15 m stands a blue-and-white Bavarian maypole. To the right, beyond a mud field and a rubble slope, the well-known drop-off edges begin at around 20 m, and a mirror is placed at 38 m.
