Walchensee – Urfeld
At Urfeld, at the north end of Walchensee, the entry follows the stairs down to the boat rental and straight on into the water. A local diver gathered rubbish from the lake bed and built it into underwater 'artworks' – a rowing boat with tyres, a boat with canisters, buckets and pots, old barrels. The local base rates it as a dive to about 30 m from the jetty; the lake's clear water and altitude make it a classic mountain-lake training dive.
