Hole in the Wall
Dive from the shallow reef through a deep crevice and sand chute with yellowhead jawfish to the top of a drop-off. Novices stay higher on the wall while advanced divers go deeper (opening around 30 m, sport limit about 34 m); sea turtles, stingrays and eagle rays are common along the wall. It is not a true cave, with direct access to the surface at all times. Position = Roatán Marine Park mooring buoy for this site (RMP 'dive sites' map, Sept 2026 list).

In practice dive operators ask divers to hold it before diving the park's reefs (one operator lists US$10 per year or US$3 per day), so treat it as required and confirm the current amount and validity with the park or your shop. The fee funds the mooring buoys and reef patrols.

- Tips: Mixed novice and advanced options; there is also a dark silty cavern where a guide is needed. Good buoyancy control is essential.
