Mary's Place
Roatán's best-known crevice dive on the south shore: a deep vertical crack in the reef with overhangs, sponges and coral growth, mooring at about 9 m and walls reaching some 37 m. Seahorses are often found in the sponges and eagle rays pass along the wall. Scuba Diving magazine named it a best dive site in 2018, according to CoCo View. Position = Roatán Marine Park mooring buoy for this site (RMP 'dive sites' map, Sept 2026 list).

In practice dive operators ask divers to hold it before diving the park's reefs (one operator lists US$10 per year or US$3 per day), so treat it as required and confirm the current amount and validity with the park or your shop. The fee funds the mooring buoys and reef patrols.
