Clown Valley
Clown Valley, also called Apuri or Anemone Valley, is on the south-east side of Pura and is said to have one of the highest concentrations of sea anemones anywhere. Almost every surface is carpeted with bulb-tentacle anemones in many colours, hosting Clark's and tomato anemonefish, porcelain crabs and commensal shrimps. Sea apples feed in the current, wobbegongs are sometimes found, and in the shallows bubbles rise from the volcanic sand.
