Mucky Mosque
Mucky Mosque is the classic muck dive on the north shore just inside the entrance to Kalabahi Bay. The sloping sand is strewn with ropes, cloth and other debris tangled in sponges and algae, and this junk is home to a long list of critters: frogfish perched on hydroid-covered ropes, thorny seahorses, several kinds of ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp, Coleman shrimp on fire urchins, zebra crabs, crinoid cuttlefish and wonderpus. Rhinopias turn up here on lucky days, and the site is just as good at night.
