The Arch
The Arch is a wall off the south-west corner of Ternate where large crevices form a big arch at about 20–30 m. The coral cover is very healthy, with gorgonians and whip corals longer than three metres that can host the rare wire coral shrimp. The upper reef holds marble dragonets, filefish and nudibranchs, and the whole site is a showcase of walls, cracks and overhangs.
