Crystal Bay
Bali's most famous Mola Mola site, on the west side of Nusa Penida. The bay has two reef sections separated by a sandy channel that slopes to 30–40 m: a sheltered shallow coral plateau on the south-west side for easier dives, and a more exposed side near the central islet leading to the deeper corners where sunfish are cleaned below the thermocline from about July to October. Visibility is often excellent; turtles, frogfish, nudibranchs and glassfish around a coral pillar fill the rest of the dive.
