Gili Tepekong
The largest of the three islets off Candidasa, a short boat ride from Padang Bai. Steep walls, a famous canyon and a chimney connecting a sloping plateau with a wall, swept by strong and changeable currents (one part is nicknamed the 'toilet bowl'). Cold upwellings bring good visibility and big fish: grey and whitetip reef sharks, eagle rays, barracuda and Mola Mola in season, with pygmy seahorses in the gorgonians.
