Ped
Off the village and great temple of Ped on Penida's north coast, between SD and Sental. A wide shallow coral plateau, rich in turtles, fusiliers, batfish and Napoleon wrasse, borders a deeper wall where barracuda, tuna, giant trevally and occasionally thresher sharks or Mola Mola appear. Usually a comfortable horizontal drift, but water masses can accelerate along the wall, especially in the cold season.
