Hukurila Cave
A honeycombed headland on Ambon's south-east coast, east of Pintu Kota. A twisting chimney, best entered from the top, leads into a cathedral-like chamber lit by a skylight, with the entrance at about 12 m and three exits at the bottom. Walls are covered in sponges and soft corals, sweepers and soldierfish crowd the nooks, and one large exit is framed by luxuriant gorgonians and sea whips.
