Koon
A small island off the eastern tip of Seram. A reef flat at 5 m gives way to a wall, and at the point a strong current concentrates dogtooth tuna, schooling barracuda, jacks, Queensland groupers, whitetip reef sharks, Napoleon wrasse and big trevally. Around the corner the reef is calmer, with ghost pipefish, orangutan crabs and garden eels.
