Nil Desperandum
Nil Desperandum is a submerged atoll-like reef near Nila island in the southern Banda Sea, visited on longer Banda Sea liveaboard routes. Healthy vertical walls around a shallow reef top, very clear water and upwelling-driven fish life — tuna, Napoleon wrasse, groupers and schooling fish — make it a highlight, with a good chance of hammerhead sharks in season.
