Tatawa Kecil
Tatawa Kecil is a small rocky island south of Tatawa Besar. On its west side huge boulders covered in orange cup corals hide groupers, the shy barramundi cod, sweetlips and batfish, with swim-throughs between them; a slope begins below about 17 m where schools of black and humpback snappers gather and trevally and tuna hunt. Shallow coral gardens are full of anthias, and reef sharks cruise the drop-off.
