Halik
Halik is on the north side of Gili Trawangan. A reef edge slopes from about 5 m to 15 m over coral bommies, then deeper ridges and canyons ('Deep Halik') drop towards 40 m. The shallows are busy with anthias, sweetlips, trevally and surgeonfish, small caves shelter juvenile whitetip reef sharks, and turtles are common. Bumphead parrotfish feed here around full moon, and eagle rays and giant trevally pass along the deeper section.
