Sunset Reef
Sunset Reef is a gently sloping reef off the south-west tip of Gili Trawangan, with hard and soft corals including branching and table corals. Snapper, sweetlips and schooling batfish are common, whitetip reef sharks rest on the sand from around 18 m, and turtles, cuttlefish and octopus are regular. Several centres call the same area Manta Point: mantas pass occasionally, mostly in the wetter months.
