Terumbu Tiga (T3, Three Brothers)
Terumbu Tiga is a boulder reef east of Perhentian Besar, named after three huge boulders with stacked smaller rocks between them that form channels and swim-throughs. Being further from the coast it often has better visibility than the shore sites, though some guides report it can be murky. Barracuda, mackerel and reef sharks resting under the rocks are common, and the soft corals and sponges suit macro photography. Logged maximum depths are 19–23 m.
