Vietnamese Wreck (Pasir Tani wreck)

A small freighter that sank around the 1970s (one source says about 1976) and lies at roughly 22–24 m on sand near the south-west of Perhentian Kecil. It can be penetrated and is overgrown with corals and gorgonians. Currents are often strong and visibility sometimes poor, which makes it more demanding than the Sugar Wreck. Great barracuda are common, and critters such as seahorses and blue-ringed octopus have been reported.
