Halaveli Wreck
A cargo ship of about 33–40 m scuttled near Halaveli island around 1990–91 as an artificial reef, now sitting upright on sand with the deck at about 20 m and the keel at 28 m. It is best known for blotched fantail stingrays that rest on the sand around the hull, together with large moray eels, groupers, batfish and lionfish. Currents are usually mild and the site is also offered as a night dive.
