Kuredu Express
Lhaviyani's best-known dive: a sandy channel near Kuredu on the north-eastern side of the atoll, with terraces at different depths that make natural stopping points. Grey reef sharks, often in groups on an incoming tide, spotted eagle rays, tuna, napoleon wrasse, barracuda and jacks patrol the channel, and green turtles rest on the ledges. A coral canyon at around 20 m and soft-coral-covered overhangs add to the scenery.
