USS Anderson (DD-411)
Sims-class destroyer sunk in Test Able; she lies mostly intact on her port side on sand at about 51 m, top at about 43 m. Propellers, depth-charge racks, turrets and torpedo tubes can be seen. Residual radiation on the wrecks is described by the operator as negligible; the real risks are depth, decompression and the lack of a recompression chamber nearby. Do not eat locally grown food on Bikini (soil caesium).
