Síis Já (Sisal, Valladolid)
Cenote beneath the former San Bernardino de Siena convent in the Sisal district of Valladolid. INAH underwater archaeologists have recorded 153 firearms, an iron cannon on its original carriage and ceramics ranging from pre-Hispanic to 20th-century, thought to have been thrown in by government troops in 1847–48 during the Caste War. In 2026 INAH reported damage from illegal structures, unauthorised divers' lines and aquifer pollution.
