Xaan (Hacienda Kampepen)
Semi-open cenote inside Hacienda Kampepen in Homún, about 65 km south-east of Mérida, on the Ring of Cenotes. Access is by rappel. Sunlight entering the opening creates strong light-and-shadow effects when seen from the cavern, with stalactites, columns and tree roots dropping from the ceiling. Yucatán Dive Center lists depths of 2–40 m and offers both cavern and cave dives here.
