Fujikawa Maru
Armed aircraft ferry (6,938 t, built 1938) sunk by a torpedo in hold 4 during Operation Hailstone (17–18 Feb 1944), just after unloading 30 'Jill' bombers at Eten airfield. Upright on the sand off Eten with the masts rising to about 5 m, she is the lagoon's most popular wreck: six-inch guns bow and stern, dismantled A6M Zero parts and propellers in the holds, bottles, gas masks and a Japanese bathtub. A small memorial shrine placed by a Japanese delegation in 1974 stands on the bridge.

Operators (Thorfinn, Odyssey, Blue Lagoon) list US$50.
- Tips: Great first Truk wreck and good night dive; the holds are within recreational depth. Wrecks are war graves – look, photograph, take nothing. Some cargo (shells, mines, bombs) is unstable: do not touch it.
