Sutsuki (Patrol Boat No. 34)
Momi-class destroyer (935 t) from the 'Tokyo Express' days, damaged in a collision in 1943 and towed to Truk, later used as Patrol Boat No. 34. Dive3D and Pacific Wrecks say she was not lost in Hailstone but sank on 3 July 1944 to high-altitude bombing, and the wreck stuck out of the water (the operator's text instead has her sunk off western Tonoas during the Hailstone raids). A shallow wreck at about 7–14 m where snorkellers see the rusting hull and divers see the propellers, rudder, troop quarters and stern engine room.

Under the state code the permit is sold by the licensed dive shops/operators, who collect the fee for the state, and divers must go with a certified guide from a licensed shop. All Japanese ships and aircraft sunk before 31 Dec 1945 are protected monuments and war graves: taking or damaging anything is illegal (fine up to US$1,000 and/or six months in prison under the state code).

- Website: https://visitchuuk.com/contact-information
- CVB is the Chuuk State tourism office and is listed here as the official contact for visitor information; the permit itself is sold by the licensed dive operators (Chuuk State code Title 25 ch. 8, text at https://faolex.fao.org/docs/pdf/mic79052.pdf). Operators (Thorfinn, Odyssey, Blue Lagoon) list US$50.
- Unverified: Operator says sunk during Hailstone; Pacific Wrecks and Dive3D say 3 July 1944. The depth range is the operator's map popup and may be copied from the neighbouring Pugh entry.
- Tips: Shallow and suitable for newer wreck divers; sinking date uncertain. Wrecks are war graves – look, photograph, take nothing. Some cargo (shells, mines, bombs) is unstable: do not touch it.
